  • This module can only operate if:
    • under PrestaShop 1.7, stock management is enabled (Shop Settings / Products / Product Stock / Enable stock management)

List of features offered by the Inventories module:

  • Create inventories by:
    • category (multi-category supported)
    • supplier
    • brand (multi-brand supported)
    • warehouse
  • Prevent a product from being inventoried if it does not match the defined criteria
  • Pre-load the theoretical product list for each warehouse
  • Manage inventory in 2 available modes:
    • Direct mode using a barcode scanner
    • Deferred mode with manual entry
  • Create a free inventory without filters
  • Manage inventory in 2 available views:
    • Already inventoried products
    • Products remaining to be inventoried
  • Pause and resume an inventory at any time
  • Export an ongoing (unclosed) inventory in CSV format
  • Close an inventory while accounting for stock movements linked to orders that occurred between the inventory start date and its closing
  • Track the history of closed inventories via CSV export
  • Valuate the inventoried stock

Good to know:

Ongoing inventories are updated in real time whenever a sale is made online or in-store.
